Josh Perry is a studio artist based in Fort Worth Texas. He has worked closely with GDT Studios and the Artluck organization for many years since graduating from The University of Texas At Arlington with a BFA in Drawing. Josh works primarily in abstract style with a focus on mark making and material exploration. The goal of most of Josh’s work is to create work that is visually complex that creates conversation about meaning. Josh’s primary influences are artists such as Cy Towombly, Stephen Lapthisupon, Robert Motherwell, and Stanley Donwood.
